Dig-it Launches Range of Philippe Starck Outdoor Furniture on the Web

Dig-it.co.uk, the gardening web-site, has launched a range of contemporary outdoor furniture created by internationally renowned designer, Philippe Starck. The range includes chairs, stools and tables which can be used indoors and outside and will add a touch of effortless style to any garden.

Philippe Starck is among the century’s most celebrated and prolific designers, who is known for pushing the boundaries of design technology in his creation of everyday objects. In bringing his creations to their web-site, Dig-it has linked up with London-based design consultancy, Viaduct, which specialises in British and European contemporary design.

The range consists of “indoor/outdoor” furniture, which can be used in urban or rural settings or in extreme weather conditions. It features Starck’s latest chair, “Slick Slick”, manufactured in plastic and available in several colours and his sweet “Bubu” stool which doubles as a handy container. Dig-it have also introduced some funky lighting onto the site, including Ross Lovegrove’s “Solar Buds” which can be used as markers for paths or driveways.
