To clean

Caution: never mix cleaning agents, the results could be dangerous.

borax lemon juice

Flush toilet, then apply this paste. Leave for 1 or 2 hours.

bleach

Do not use bleach with septic tanks. Otherwise, 2 tablespoons poured into the toilet will, after several hours, remove toilet rings. Bleach will also remove rust stains under the rim of the toilet.

Calcium rings

fine pumice stone or abrasive powder
Rub gently with either.
