Epiphyte
A plant that grows on another plant but which does not receive nourishment from the host plant (orchids, staghorn ferns).

Espalier
A tree or shrub trained so that its branches grow in a flat pattern against a wall or trellis.

Established
An established plant is one that is firmly rooted and is producing good growth of leaves.

Evergreen
An evergreen is a plant that never loses all its leaves at the same time.
