Brits moan over moving mayhem
- fish4homes research reveals the hidden hassles of moving home. 22 million Brits would prefer to stay put in their current homes than pursue the perfect pad to avoid the dreaded house moving process. Research published today from fish4homes, the UK’s leading property website, reveals a staggering 83% of Brits consider moving house to be a highly stressful affair, with one in 25 of us resorting to paying over the odds in our current dwellings rather than moving out.
There’s no surprise that the moving process ranks top alongside divorce and redundancy when it comes to major stresses in our life. So what are the biggest bugbears that make us see red when it comes to upping sticks and moving house?

What’s more, the nasty and naughty hidden treasures found in the nooks and crannies of new homes can be a sight for sore eyes.
